A curious London-based architect inspired by beautiful, delightful, and socially-engaging design.

Andrew is an architect based in London, UK, and a key member of rapidly emerging architecture practice Gort Scott.

He is inspired by beautiful, delightful, socially-engaging design, and is interested in exploring ways of applying an architect's skill set beyond the profession's traditional confines. This has seen him assisting in the creation of the digital fabrication lab at FABberz and formulating a production process for a series of sculptures by internationally-renowned artist Shirazeh Houshiary. Materiality and construction are equally important design aspects for him, which is why he has also built a drum tower at an AA building workshop in Japan, designed encaustic floor tiles for his own flat, and prototyped profiled ceramic cladding whilst at EM2N in Zurich, Switzerland.

Although not actively seeking personal projects away from his full-time role at Gort Scott, Andrew is interested in collaborative workshop, teaching or seminar opportunities and also available as an external critic. Please feel free to email him by clicking on the envelope icon.
